The End – John Barnes

THE END is an entertaining story about two high school seniors who fall in love during the end of the world.  Their love is strong enough to survive natural disasters, wars, political fighting and extremist groups.  But can it survive their biggest challenge?

Jake Peterson is a squeaky clean kid who made a commitment to never drink alcohol after his grandparents died in a car wreck from a drunk driver.  Katie Martin is a popular party girl.  That difference becomes their biggest challenge.  While they are working through it, a major turn of events changes their relationship forever.

THE END is shocking and full of drama that you’ll never see coming.  But it delivers a powerful message of kindness and that we should treat everyone with love, regardless of our differences.
