Hello, my name is Kyle N Kolber and I’m a writer. I knew for a very long time that I wanted to write. But I didn’t exactly know how or what to write. Then COVID hit. Locked in my house I grew bored, and I wanted to do something with my time, but I didn’t know what. So I took to writing.

I started to write A Universe: Discovery. Originally it was supposed to be just one book, but as I wrote it started to form itself into a three book series, then a four, then finally I landed on six books. Six books, that’s how long A Universe’s story was going to last. I knew then I wanted to keep writing. But writing along in the series, I started to think what I could do after, and a few months later, I figured it out.

The Kolberverse, a vast open array of books that all connect. It could be the slightest detail, or even the most major aspect, but they all connect. Even though the books all take place tens maybe even hundreds of years apart, they all connect in a way. I knew I wanted to make something special, and I know the Kolberverse is that something. The thing that makes it special is the stories that will be told and how they will be written.

Tell don’t show, something most writers despise. But with the new generations out there, I knew writing needed to change. Telling a story is a much easier way to… well… tell a story. This is what makes TV shows, movies, even Youtube so popular, it’s easy media. So I thought why not change the way we write. I started to tell the story to people rather than making them have to do all the work and picture it in their heads. It’s a simple, and new concept that I know will work. The goal of my books is to get people into or back into reading. Media is very two-sided, it could be good or bad, but books help us in far greater ways than it may seem. And I want to show that.

With all of that being said, this website is your look into me. It’ll tell you the upcoming books and when their potential release dates are.
